Probably lymph nodes?........I think all mammals have lymph nodesthroughout the body with concentrations in the neck, armpit or groin areas.
They are fairly superficial which is why you can palpate them when you are sick.[:'(] |

I had one in a duck breast the other day, i threw it out. If I dont think it is safe then my family aint eating it.

When I trapped muskrats I use to find them all the time. I never knew what it was but I thought it was a sist. They were the size of a dime and had yellow/white goo in them. Almost identical to the stuff inside a zit.

I agree lymph nodes. They usually have a fatty center and I noticed the white area on the one. I shot a doe one year that had 2 in the hind quarters full of "whitish" goo. Did not stink everyone ate meat and all are still fine. If look closely you will see these more often, usually they are small and easily overlooked.
