RE: Hunting A Cattle Farm

I wouldn't be too concerned with the cows. I hunt on sort of a cow farm. The cows are out in the fields in a pasture, and I hunt different fields and in the woods.

Ahh, they are just looking for food, don't worry too much, cows don't bite usually... I would worry far less about the bulls than any momma cows with real young babies.. I have been driven through fences, chased up trees and done a few death defining leaps into the back of my pick up bed when it comes to momma cows... That being said, you walk into a pasture with cows they are going to come and see what is up... Unless they are in a real good patch of clover and than they will just go about their business.

Most every farm with any number of cattle are going to have a few that are just not right in the head..It seams that everytime we ship the trouble makers another one or two pops up...

I find sheds in the middle of my winter cow pastures so the deer walk through them all the time.. This summer they were always in the hay piles and I have seen tracks in the dirt near the silage pits too so they are around.. On occasion have even almost run over a deer on my four wheeler while driving through tall spring pasture... Usually a fawn and always gives me a heartattack..
