Glad you're OK. I am a new harness user and will never climb a tree without one again. Too many years of taking chances got me thinking that my luck might have been running out. I got the Loggy Bayou Transformer for $69 at Cabelas and can't say enough good things about it.

I fell last year, base of my stand out from under me...my harness saved me from a horrific fall. I NEVER even think about not using one, in fact I keep a spare with my gear just in case.

Glad you are ok...

I have never been a big fan of a safety harness. I use ladder stands for the most part and well looks liek i need to invest in one. Liek you said anything can happen and with out warning.

That is pretty intense...I know a lot of gusy around my age who don't use harness and are hunting very high up. I jsut don't feel safe without one.
