I found her. I actually hit her in the liver(and guts as well)but there was no blood at all. I walked in the woods last place I saw her and she was there about 30 yards. I love my bow but it shoots way too fast. I can't even see that arrow. I think I am going to cut a slot in my gloves for my trigger finger. I think shooting with gloves messes me up. Thanks everyone for your help.

Good job.

Your probably not shooting accurately because of your gloves. Always practice exactly as you would hunt...this includes the gloves and full jacket...

I just have to feel that trigger on the release. When I get a new pair of gloves the first thing I do is cut off the trigger finger. In case of REAL cold I'll put on a thin glove liner and stick a heat pack in my pocket. Congrats on the deer.

Go to Gander Mtn, and spend 25 bucks on the archer's gloves. I bought them just before opener, and I absolutely love them. They are designed with the opening for a release attached to the wrist. And the palm side of the glove is made for archery.

I won't say you need practice, because I've had a day or two like that in my hunting years. I remember missing the same doe twice, once on a deflection from a branch, and one where I flat out under shot her. I was close enough to take white hair off her belly, but not cut into her. People can practice all they want, even in the hunting simulation, but the bottom line is, you'll havea day or two where everything seems to go against you. You find it recurring, then I'd be at the range for sure.

It can't hurt to practice, or check for equipment malfunction though.
