I am trying to talk myself into having this years buck done in full sneak position. I currently have none done like this.
Could any of you show me your full sneak mounts so I can make up my mind??

It could very well be,I asked for a semi-sneak and that was whatI picked up 7 months later:D. It is what it is,- I have no clue, not a txidermist- only a wanna be hunter. I shot it, he stuffed it.
Sorry of it's on the wrong thread[&o].
If it's not a semi I'll pull it.


BTW, whatever this pose is, it sticks out away from the wall WAY more than my other mounts.

Here a couple of pics I saved on here because I wanted to show my buddy that does taxidermy (he's currently working on mine). I wanted to show him the eyes...I think they look different, but really good. Not sure exactly what sneak position it is. Hope this person doesn't mind me using their pics!

Here is a full sneak. It is a McKenzie form. If you would like some different angles of the form let me know and I will snap some more photos. These are all I have in my PC.

Just one thing I noticed and will add. Not that it applies to your buck in praticular, just throwing it out there for anyone that may be interested in this pose.

Ifa buck doesn't have a thick (rutted out)neckthe mounts just don't look right full sneek. One of my best friends is my taxi so I see around a hundred of his whitetail mounts a year. IMO the form just dosen't look that good on young and or early season bucks before their neck fills out.

Just my observation.

Heres one of my 2002 buck Full Powell Sneak Mount with mouth closed. Sometimes i like to chage the angle of him by slightly rotating the mount about 1-2 inches in either direction, makes it look pretty natural. I dont like mounts that are in an unnatural pose.
