What is your favorite camouflage?

Hi Everyone,

I am just doing a little informal survey on what kind of camouflage everyone likes best.

Thanks,

I like these, in no particular order. Whatever blends in better with the surroundings and weather you are hunting up, or on the ground.

Mossy Oak New Break Up
Mossy Oak Forest Floor
Realtree Hardwoods
Seclusion 3d

I hunt open country with plum thickets, shinoak motts, lovegrass, little bluestem. In our part of the world I have found nothing better than Natgear once the green goes away. Main thing is it doesn't turn into a blob at distance. While it's still green, lots of things are good.

Most of my stuff is Mossy Oak with a little Realtree mixed in

Predator Fall Grey. No blobbing effect, and almost impossible to spot up in a tree from the ground.

It really depends on the time of year and type of area im hunting. Most of the time i find myself in realtree hardwoods green or realtree hardwoods. I do wear mossy oak break up some to though.

There are quite a few good patterns out there that won't "blob" up at a distance. God's Country Camo, Nat Gear, ASAT, etc. really do a nice job.

I actually have tested this over the course of hundreds of hunts. I have tried ground hunts and tree stand hunts and have come to this conclusion:

Camoflauge is more of a boys club than a necessity here in Florida. I have found that I will have just as much luck in Bluejeans and a green longsleeve shirt as I will any type of camo I have tried.

I believe strongly that the deer will do one of two things. Smell you or not smell you. And I dont think that any large buck will be fooled by any of that scent blocker plus stuff.

That is just my take on it after a sick amount of seat time out in the woods testing this.

Thanks everyone.

Seems like most everybody has a favorite. Also looks like some of the new companies have really tried break up a person's pattern while at the same time offering realistic images.
