bows, bows, and more bows

I am considering buying a new bow this spring, although I bought a new bow last spring! I was just wondering how many bows that people on here own? And how often do you buy new ones? Also do you shoot all of them, or just the newest one?

Doe Killer I currently own and use 2 bow's,A Hoyt Striker 2,and a Hoyt Vortec.I dont usually buy a bow on impulse.I have the Vortec set up for Hunting, and Im using the Striker for indoor leagues.I enjoy shooting both of them, and it's nice knowing that you have a backup laying around, should you ever need one.

Well, I bought a Hoyt HavocTec on Monday. I absolutely love it! My first bow a parker Challenger served me well. I shot my first deer with it, a beautiful 7 point. I listed it for sale on eBay this morning. I kind of hate to see it go. But I want to buy a new release for my Hoyt so my Parker has to go. Silly really, being sentimental about a bow!

We as a family own 5 bows. My primary shooter is a longbow and my backup is a recurve. Both shoot the same arrow at about the same speed so they have the same point of impact. I also have a recurve that I'm putting a plastic rest on for wet weather shooting. My wife shoots my backup (it's really her bow) and my daughter has a recurve that she can shoot. The last bow is an all wood (bamboo/Osage) longbow that a friend made before he passed away. I shoot it sparingly, wanting to be able to enjoy it for many many years before it's taken so much set that I have to hang it up.

ijimmy, How well do you like your ultralite pro? Ive thought about buying one for 3D. Does it feel pretty forgiving? How about vibration?

The ultralite pro is nice they claim 80% letoff and I shoot better with a 65% letoff bow . As far as vibration it was bad when I got the bow but I put a simms enhancer and limb savers on it and it smoothed right out .
