Summit Viper X5 (same in bowhunting gear review)
 

Ok, well i bought a Summit Viper X5. Anyone use one of these stands? If so, how do you like it? Do you regret buying it? Just kind of looking for some goods and bads about the stand. Thanks in advance

i bought one this year and it's great. i had a crappy api climber and i only used it a couple times years ago. the viper is so comfy i know i could sit in it all day. it's also real quiet and never squeaks. i'm very happy i bought it.

Ditto!!! I have a two year old Viper and it's just dandy. Especially with the newly added stirrups. I wouldn't go so far as to say it's comfy all day. I spent 12 hours a day in mine in Illinois two years ago and my butt did get sore, but hey, that's a long time and I have to sit most of the time due to a bad back. The stability of the stand is unparalleled. And it's very quiet if you learn to take your time and control it.

I have a Viper X4 from last season. I love it!!! :D I sat in it all day today and even dozed off a few times in the early afternoon! It is that comfortable and that secure. I will never get another tree stand than a Summit. They rock!

I hunted from my X5 for the first time today.....the only complaint I have is that I am 6' tall 260 lbs so its just a tad small for me....If I had it to do over, I would have bought the goliath x5 but still....this stand is the best Ive been in and VERY QUIET!
