classic bowhunting
I sat in the tree climber until 0930 sunday morning without seeing a single deer. Walking out, I heard some movement ahead of me and a nice looking 4pt stumbles outin the road @ less than 15yds. He looks me over and calmy goes about his business. I hear something behind him, so I nock arrow and kneel....out steps what would have been a twin 4 pt, only the one side was broken.
Two bucks @ 15yds on the ground, even goofy 1.5yr old bucks, is a rush...that's why the early season bowhunt, something interesting happens every time out! |

You stay in that stand until about 11 am and watch how many more deer you see.

Amen to that motown. I use to get down early all the time but now that I don't I see alot more deer. You have to spend the time in the tree to score big.
