scent killer????

I have been useing scent killer for several years now and have come to the conclusion that I am not that thrilled with it. This year I switched from autumn formula to regular and that made it worse. I use body wash, soap hair shampoo and then the cover spray, I wash my clothes in no scent wash and keep it sealed in plastic bag until I hunt.I spray it everywhere and heavy and I hunt downwind and the other night the wind was strong and I was downwind and they still winded me. Don't get me wrong I have shot some nice bucks but I was lucky because to be honest they even smelled me. Anyone have any tips or maybe a better brand to try.

i heard ur not sapose to spray it on heavy, i just spray once in the front, and once in the back, the other night was the first time ive ever used it and it was the first night ive seen a deer all season, a doe and a fawn came down 30 yards from my stand!

I don't think there is any product that will fool a whitetails nose if they are close enough. Plain and simple!

I believe it works. try doing a search for a home made version. it takes the sting out of buying it from where ever. I use my home made version, and I have taken more deer with a bow in the first two weeks than I ever have in a bowseason.

I'm not sure any of that stuff works either but I still use a mix of baking soda, peroxide and green soap in well or distilled water:

1/2 box of baking soda
16oz of peroxide
2oz of green soap
1 gal of water

I have read in different places where people used a "woods tea" made of plants and tree species of the area boiled down into a tea.

Personally I think it would be a whole lot easier to stink like something than not to stink at all.
