Default The Moon

I was in Indiana today and on the way home(MI) on the turnpike I saw a lot of deer out early. I notice the moon was just about full and a clear sky. It has been my experance deer movement is less in conditions like tonite, but I saw a pile of deer early.
What do you guys see in these conditions?

Deer usually feed all night and bed most of the day during nearly full and full moons. I don't know if it's like that everywhere, but that's how it works here.

I dont know either. What I do know is I only get to hunt Saturdays & Sundays so I don't care much for what phase the moons in or anything else. I would suspect thatdeer follow lunar movements sort of like fish so you have a very valid Q.

Well, I'll tell you. This evening sunset was at 6:21PM. At 5:00, I made my way to a great ground spot with a heavily used deer trail 60 yards straight ahead of me. I sat down under some bushes with a terrace to my back to break my outline. Within 5 minutes 2 button bucks came out of the woods and started grazing on the soybean stubblealong the treeline. A couple of minutes later, about 10 turkeys came out of the woods 10 yards north of the bucks. As I waited for the deer to work their way into my shooting lane, I noticed 2 does off to my rearleft about 80 yards out. Then more deer came out another trail to the left of where the turkey cameout. I WAS SURE I WAS GOING TO GET A DEER MY FIRST BOW SEASON! As the first deer stepped into the lane, I was already drawn just had to raise, aim and shoot. Just then a turkey walked within 5 feet of me and after the warning gobble took off straight at the deer and all hell broke loose. The deer in front broke for the woods, the deer to the left took off away from me and the deer to my rear left stood on alert for another 10 minutes before walking away from me. There was a crap load more activity tonight (which wasn't good for me) and there in the sky was that great big moon. I was so freaking frustrated, I wanted to shoot that dang turkey, but I just sat there reliving the whole thing trying to think of something that I could have done different. Then after all creatures great and small were out of sight, I crawled the 300 yards back to my truck to stay out of sight.
