RE: Release opinions
Bought a Truball Tornado just before opening day for $65 after testing it out at the shop. I couldn't believe the difference between it and my cheapie Tru-Fire Patriot. Didn't really want to spend that much but after trying it out it was definitely coming home with me!

RE: Release opinions
Are you shooting off the string or using a loop?

RE: Release opinions
I have been using a glove release for a long time now cause I have never really liked wrist strap releases but Scott came out with the sabertooth this year and I had to have it. It is simply awesome. The trigger is moved foward right up next to the very thin and trim stainless steel jaws. The thin jaws along with the foward trigger creates a very nice feel at full draw. Everything is closer together (hand, string, and arrow) like it should be and for those of you that shortened up your draw length to shoot a rope you can now gain almost an inch of it back.
Silky smooth release. Definetly a top contender release and one of the best I have ever used. |
RE: Release opinions
I always just figured that if it opened and closed when you wanted it to that they're all the same. Does a good release make that much a of a diff. in accuracy?

RE: Release opinions
Yes! You better believe it. Just like a nice crisp trigger on a rifle can make a rifle more accurate.

RE: Release opinions
I'm using a Scott Little Goose and really like it. The Scott's felt alot better than the TRU Ball's IMO.
