Dropdown rest question
 
any of ya'll try takin a reagular arrow rest and reversing to spring on it so that instead of stayin up all the time, it stays down. then take a piece of string or somtin and tie it to your bow string?? i heard it in a magazine..does it work?

LOL i guess it would work, but aint no way i would try that. But to each his own :D

YUP.... it does work if your draw length and anchoris consistant. You can image the problems you might have if you had a tendancy to creep just the slightest amount.

OR...... you could buy a Muzzy and not worry about it.:D;)

It works, but not as well as just getting a drop a way designed for the purpose. I have tried it a few time. I actually ruind a quick tune 3000 by doing it. I messed up the spring switching back and forth. Then took it apart to try and fix it. Never could it back together again[:o]. Oh well.

There are a few drop aways that work off the same principle though.
