I'm with SA on this one sometimes the wind can be your best friend! I hate having to leave camp after a good hunt!

The worst thing about hunting is that period of time between the end of deer season and the first day of spring gobbler.

The wind is the second worst. Last weekend I hunted my biologic plot for the first time this year - waiting it out until the wind was perfect and the activity was solid. Well not 20 minutes into my hunt a nice 6 point loops all the way around so that he is coming in downwind of me, not the way they have been coming in on all our scouting and trail cam pics. Well, about 60 yards out the blowing started. Nothing but does the rest of the night.

Hey!I don't know If this has happened to anybody but walking in the woods in the morning,when you know it's to dark to shoot anything but it's light enough to see deer standing in the field,or when you stayed till dark thirty and you can barelly see 20 yards ,so you walk back and you see deer standing out in the field looking at you,that happened to me a few times[:@]

The worst thing is....

When your running late in the morning trying get to your hunting area,
only to find out you left your Bow or gun at home!!!:eek:

I hate hunting in the rain..........it just plain sucks. I barely ever see deer in the rain.........and the one I did shoot was a PITA to track.

Rain sucks........give me snow any day.......the bigger the flakes the better. Nothing like a morning on stand with powdery snow coming down the size of Fritos:)

Walking to the truck sunday night ,after hunting the whole weekend,knowing i have to work the next day,and workthe whole week before i go hunt again... that Stinks !!! "A rainy ,cold day in the woods seeing nothin is better than a good day at work...

the worst for me is that the season does not last year round , but wait then when would i mushroom hunt ,fish and etc.......

I hate wind. Like, the gusty, blow sand in your eyes, play hell on you type wind. I dont mind a breeze. I mean, i play the wind while bow hunting, but im not near the fanatic that others are.
