Chemical Scent Suit

I was hoping that someone could help me out. There was a post about scent elimination clothing and in it someone posted information on a product that would eliminate scent.

I can't find the post. Can someone provide a link to it.

Thanks
Tom

Two manufacturers of the scent eliminating clothing are scentblocker and scent-lok. You can get scentblocker at some Wal-mart stores now. Expect to pay about $100 each for pants and coat.

RE: Chemical Scent Suit

Hi All,

I just did another search and I still can't find the post. Somewhere in the tread someone wrote in on the temperature range to reactivate carbon. The claim was between 600 and 800 degrees. There was also another post in there that talked about an alternative scent masking clothes that has a relatively low cost but I believe you throw it out after use. That is what I am looking for.

There was also a post in there about the amount of carbon in the suit barely being enough to cover your boots relative to another application of activated carbon.

Does someone know what post I am looking for?

Thanks
Tom

X Scent is a bit cheaper than Scent Lok or Scentblocker, give it a try.

Yeah,I got a set of the X-Scent unders for $20 a piece and they work great!;)
I got my first doe with them on,and she was down wind!!
Of course I were rubber boots and wash all of my outer garments in Scent Away clothes wash.
You can get a military Chem suit off e-bay for about $20-$30
thats a top and bottoms, they are carbon lined and work great.
Just remember to wash them in Scent away first to get any loose carbon
out before you were them.
Made that mistake myself, made white long johns turngrey!!![:@]
