Trees are starting to change colors real good now in the higher elevations. Got a few pics while I was out at the one farm yesterday. Found some decent tracks in the wet mud too. You'll have to scroll down to see where they were headed!

And.... here's where they were going straight to from the fields:

Yep... right in the backyard of the farmer's house!

Beautiful looking ground. What part of the country are you in?

Does he have apple trees?Or any other fruit trees in or around his yard.If not I would be looking for some persimmon trees close by.Or a pond.

That's up in Upstate NY. He doesn't have any fruit bearing trees. But I do believe that there is some silage close by to the barn from the truck loads they are starting to transport from the farm now. It all seems to fall out right around there. The path you see in the first pic comes right down in there so I believe they are kinda funneled in through there and cross the road from his drive way to his other corn plots across the way.

I would be setting up a stand to hunt Sat morning right close to there then.

Yeah... I was thinkin from his front porch but I don't think he'll go for that lmao! The trail goes right back up into a corner of the field. I think I'm going to hang my stand there come Sat mornin and try to whack a fat doe. Tons of 'em up there and I'd like to get some meat in the freezer first, then go after the big boy once the pressure is off a bit.

They've got so much more corn to cut! Luckily the fields I would like to hunt have been chopped already. Once they get cut they start comin into the fields like white on rice!
