Baking Soda,
Can I use "Arm and Hammer Baking Soda" detergent instead of the more expensive no scent hunting detergents? Or does it leave a scent?
|
RE: Baking Soda,
I use no sope at all.I find the best thing to do is leave the close out in a sage bush.Or pack them in air tight bag with sage or the smell that is around you.I dont even worie about the dirt in my close just my sweat smell.Heck I even buy dirt sent and spray on all my camo.

RE: Baking Soda,
No sage than use the smeels from your hunting spot.
river mud dead leaves ailfafa stink weed coon pee cow pee / dirt from where cows laydown all the time. It is real comon for me to lay down and role in a dryelk wallow.Stinks like crap but works great. There is ton more just smells just uses your nose to find them. |
RE: Baking Soda,
Baking soda is what me and many of the members on here use. It also has no brighteners in it (if the claim about UV has any merit) so there's no chance of spooking deer that way either. It's good stuff.
