Dogs in camp
This past season my wife had perfect opputunity to take a nice 3 point mulie , a perfect twenty yard shot a shot that she practiced for for two years at 3D shoots and in the back yard, she would of had no problemfinaly the moment arrives and next to a creek there he was she was just about full draw when the dog jumps fromthe back of our hunting parties pickup and went straight for the deer well you can guess the rest. i think anyone that brings a pet especially a dog should leave it back at camp tied up.

RE: Dogs in camp
That one is a no brainer. Anyone who brings their pet along on a deer hunt definately does not want to get any deer.

Sorry to hear about your wife's misfortune. Dogs aren't welcome in PA for hunting.

I let a real nice deer go by one day just to shoot the dag that wasafter it.It was prity normal for a few guys to let there dags go opening day of deer season.
As for dogs in camp.THEY SUCK. Think about it,a dog is a predator deer are prey. Now not only do you have to hide your sent but you have to hide a dogs allso. |

I am not a dog person myself and even if I was they would be
no where near my hunting area. ![]() |
RE: Dogs in camp
pet owners have to be responsible!!! they owe it to the animals and they should respect other people...especially hunters.
hopefully your wife will get another shot at a good deer...hopefully bigger and better. |
