Finally gotta break in the weather!!
Well after a few unsuccessful outings I finally got a couple chances. I have been off work for the past 9 days, but it has been so hot here in Mississippi, that I haven't hunted much(Skeeters mostly), but yesterday mornin I nailed a 14" 4 pt and this afternoon I got a nice 80lbs doe. I used the Magnus Stinger 4 blade, and they did awesome. I was able to use the same arrow and head for both deer. I previously used Rocket expandables and they are good heads, but I never got pass throughs, so I always lost the arrow at least sometimes the head also. The Magnus did get bent up pretty bad on the doe due to the shoulder bone. I hope every one else is having good luck my hunting is over for 19 days now, I leave out in the morning headed to N.O. to work. Sorry for the long post, Chad
