Climbing Stands

While I was out scouting today i saw that the land where i hunt has a lot of trees perfect for a climbing stand. I was wandering what some of you would suggest for me to get. I need Comfort, Durability, Quiet, and easy of climbing. I dont care how much it cost, money is no option. Some suggestions would be great.

Thanks in advance,
Deer-hunter18

I have two summit climbers & absolutley love them! They are light, quiet, & durable. I have a bush master thats 7 years old & a viper thats two. They look like they were bought @ the same time! Put ur money on summit...once you start getting good & confidentwith a climber...thats all you'll use!

If money is no option then I'd recommend the Lone Wolf. I just don't think you'll find a better quality stand that will pack down as flat as their sit and climb model.

Summit , is one of the best.
I would recommend you got to Bass-Pro ; Cabela's or somewhere like that.they have most of the top brands set up on fake trees for you to set in and try,at least the one near Orlando Fl. does.that way you can see which one you like best.

the lone wolf if a fine stand.

Those of you overlooking the NEW Loggy Bayou stands are selling yourself way short. I bought a new one this year and its the best stand I've owned. I've hunted out of just about every stand except a lone wolf, so I can't say yay or nay about them. Summits are great, but I think the mega transformer nudges it out by a hair. Check this guys review out, if I was making a review I couldn't get much closer than this. (with pics)

The review is at the top, the pics you have to scroll down for.

I highly recommend a Summit, i've used a Summit Goliath two seasons now, i can assure you they are safe, rock solid and the most comfortable climbers i'veever hunted with.

Summit Viper. Great all around climbing stand and arguably the most popular current design. Price is respectable as well.

Loggy Bayou? I doubt it. I would opt for a Summit, preferrably the Viper X5. If there is one thing I will give Summit it's that they are still made in America-- for Americans.
I would also give a nod to Lone Wolf as it's cast platform is one of the most quiet. My biggest gripe with them is that they just don't make a seat that can keep me comfortable for those 12 hour days. For the money they need to work on this. Arm rests of some sort are an absolute must for those long stays.

I've used API's, Lone Wolf, Baker's, and Summits in the past. They all have their ups and downs but the Summit line is the best for me. Lone Wolf is second....mainly because the stands are just too small and uncomfortable for extended hunts. I really think if Lone Wolf made, for example, a Sit & Climb "XL" for us larger hunters they would have a real winner. Try out several and pick the one you like best.
