Digital game cams

What's a good digital game camera, say $250-$350? What functions should I look for when buying one? I don't know squat, so any tips/suggestions are welcome!

In that range I would suggest a cuddeback or leaf river. Search this topic, one guy started a thread that pretty much gives the pros and cons about every brand out there. I have a Cuddeback and Penn's Woods....both take really good pics. The cuddeback has little more flash to it, but is more complicated to operate (still not difficult)than the Penn's.....I feel the Penn's has a little better sensitivity to it as well....I've got pics of birds with it. I've just read a lot of good posts on the Lear R., but never used one. Good luck.....find that thread.

I have the CUDDY and like it.The thing has been out for over a hundred days and it's still on the first set of batteries. The picture quality is plenty good.I've gotten some good pictures of bear in the middle of the night, along with coons and deer.

I bought the higer end Stealth Cam and have lots problems with it. And, the viewing screen isnt worth a damn, its sooo small you couldnt see an elephant on it. Also, the Stealthcam support staff is nearly worthless.

I would try the Cuddeback or Leaf River if I were to do it again.
