I think you'll see more deer checked online. Alot of people here started doing that last year here to avoid the hassle of the check station. I went with a friend to check an 8 point this morning and we did have to pull the tooth but the check station had the materials there to do it, don't know if it will be this way everywhere. I hope it will do some good for the future of our mature buck population, but who knows how that information will be used.

yea, I just checked, and if you check online, they give you a choice.
whether to do it or not. so, I'll be checkin my game online again this year.

Yea, I got a 100# doe Thursday evening. When I checked it they gave me the tools to pull the teeth. I snapped of two an stuck them in the envelope. From now on I will do my checking online. I could not believe that after the third day of the season, mine was the second deer checked here in Marshall.

congrats deerdust on your doe.
that presents another problem- there's already been a few check stations that have quit checkin. I suppose it's because of this new rule. they just don't want to mess with it. thank God for puters!

Yea Bogobble, what will the folks do that don't have a computer...<img src=icon_smile_shock.gif border=0 align=middle> Just not feasible for them to phase out all check stations, unless they start letting folks check them by phone as well.
