pop up or natural ground blind

i was just wondering what you guys use, if you make a ground blind out of the twigs and branches on the ground, or if you use store bought models, and also for those that have used both which do you like better? i've only been able to use the natural style, havent been able to buy a pop up yet, but the hand made blinds have worked really well for me, the deer are used to that brush so i can build it that day and they wont know any better that im there. just wondering what you guys thought

RE: pop up or natural ground blind

My dad and I started using Ameristep Doghouse pop up blinds last season. I love them, and I never thought I'd like ground blind hunting...period. I always prefered tree stands. Anyway, you can set them up the minute your hunt starts and the game won't know the difference if you pick a good spot. My dad saw three one morning, two does and a buck, from his blind that he set up that very morning. Another morning I was in it and had turkeys all around me. You can zip the edges of the windows nearly all the way up and still see, or you can use the shoot-through mesh windows that they have. I have the shoot through mesh but have only used the open windows.
