MY FIRST DEER!
 

Hi Everybody, i went on the Michigan annual youth hunt and after the first day of not seeing any, just a turkey (cool anyways) I was begining to wonder if i would fill a tag. Sure enough the second night a saw the biggest doe ive ever seen in the woods! I Raised my .30/06 (it was a gun or bow youth hunt the first day i used bow and the second i opted to try with the good ole .06) The shot was a little farther back than i wanted, but a good lung shot none the less, made gelatin out of her lungs, she ran 40yards and fell right over, She was 170lbs with her guts in! Sorry for bragging guys, but im still glowing from the wonderful experiance...Now you know I think they got ones with antlers...Im gonna Try for one of them now thats its bowseason!
