Rapid Climb Stirrups
Has anyone used the Summit Rapid Climb Stirrup? Do you like them? Are they easy to use? I am thinking about getting a pair to mount to my climbing stand.

RE: Rapid Climb Stirrups
I purchased a set for my climber this year. It definitely make it so much easier. No more having to stad on your head to put your feet in those god forbidden straps.

RE: Rapid Climb Stirrups
The rapid climb stirrups came on my Summit Viper X4 last year. They are great and really easy to use. They can slide up or down on the railing to accomodate different foot sizes, insteps, and/or boot sizes. Once setup, just crank down on the wingnut and the stirrups hold secure and don't move.

RE: Rapid Climb Stirrups
I added them to my Viper XLS last year and like them a lot. However, if you have some strong bungee cords and some cable ties you can accomplish the same thing. Run the bungees from the side brace straight down to the side of the platform, adjust for your boot size, then secure with the cable ties. Several members on archery talk have done this and seem to like it as well.

They work great and make climbing easier and faster.

I agree as well. They are very easy to use...easier in my opinion than the original straps and bungee setup.
