spitfire pass thru revisited.

a few day ago someone posted about the spitfire on hittint the shoulder and pass thru.
it just happend yesterday I had a 4 pt. stop at 25 yards with only the shoulder exposed. I took the shot.the following is the results.in the last pic. the finger is one shoulder bone and the thumb is the other shoulder bone.the arrow was stuck in the drit about 3' the other side of the hit.the shot was just a little quartering away.the arrow hit just behind the bone on one and just in front of the other taking out both shoulder bones.

the exit side.I just open the skin and the rest is there to see.

Gee Wilikers!! I just posted on the other thread about were did you hit that deer. Now I know. That looks like it did the job. What kind of setup are you using?

I would definitely say that it looks like it did what it was supposed to. I am typically not a big fan of the Spitfires but in this case they definitely performed as advertised.

Tree climber

First of all I would like to say congrats.........you are off to one heck of a start down there. Ya got me thinkin' I should pack up my bow and stay at my parents for a week or two next year ;)

Can you please let us know what your setup is to put some perspective to those pics.

I am not the biggest fan of mechanicals in the world........but I would be the first to admit that is some AWESOME damage from a broadhead and those Spitfires performed above and beyond what could be expected of a good head.

I have been using Spitfires ever since they came on the market and I don't plan to ever switch to another broadhead. They do big time damage and are like shooting a field point until they impact.
