MN winds question

We are going to be hunting around Houston county and I was wondering if anyone could tell me the predominant wind direction (blowing from NE to SW for example)? We went up for a scouting trip this past weekend for our hunt in Oct. and it was an unbelievable experience, absolutely beautiful minus the rain. Sunday the deer came out in full force and we ended up seeing 14 bucks, 4 shooters (over 120) and a 3pt and a 4pt doing a little sparring. thanks, Chris

RE: MN winds question

type the zip code in a weather website search bar and keep an eye on the area.

in my area of central MN north and south are the two most predominant directions.
mostly from the north in the winter.

RE: MN winds question

Here in Southwest MN I would say NW & SE winds are the most predominant! NW is more though! I have stands set up for both!!
