Opening day in Northern NY in the am.
 

I finally get to get out in the am.Im going to hunt the food plot I put in this spring. The deer have been pounding it all summer, so hopefully i'll get one. Ive been reading about people on here getting them already and ive just been able to sit here and dream. Good luck to everyone this season.

Good luck. This was always one of my favorite trips to NY. I loved to get out and bowhunt the Adirondacks before the firesticks started going off. Unfortunately, I won't be making it this year.[:'(]

I want to but is is my anniversery. She supports my hunting alot so I owe it to her. O well I only have the antler less tag from last year anyway. I'll wait till the 1st. Good Luck!!

Good luck I have to wait until Sat morning and trust me nothing will keep me out of the woods then.Not even a nekked wife LOL.And she knows that too.

Hey ruttybuck are you hunting last years tag? I was just wondering because opening day for northern zone is Oct. 1st and last years license is required to hunt the days before. Just looking out for ya, good luck and be safe!

Rutty just trying to help you orothers out, I have sold licenses and had to explain this to many people, some just didn't know and some just Know it all!

Your 2004-2005 licenseis good till sept. 1st 2005. October 1st starts your new license year. If you get stopped fishing or hunting before the 1st and show your new license (2005-2006)you will be ticketed as it is not valid till OCTOBER 1, 2005.
