that would be pretty awesome, bud i'd have to say if its bad for the deer then i'm against it.

Not only is it bad for the deer...getting tranquilized too much kills them anyway. But just imagine the first time a tranquilized-drunk deer stumbles into the road and causes a fatal accident. Bad for hunters then.

I like the thought behind it though I think the others mentioned a few reasons why it probably would never get the green light.

Wow, interesting question. It is too bad there isn't an equivalent of a catch and release type situation. Sure would be fun to plunk a bunch of them in the ribs without the arrow actually penetrating the hide.
