Pendulum Sight

I know what a pendulum sight looks like but i dont know alot about themor how they are used. What are the differences in sighting one in from a regular sight. I was thinking about getting a matis v-drive is it a good sight? Hope someone can fill me in a little.

RE: Pendulum Sight

I had a few different ones. The difference is that you sight it in at around 20yds.I sighted mine in at 23yds from the ground, and it would be good from 0-30 yds,on my slow bow(256fps).(Tree or ground). There are no adjustments necessary when you change from ground to treestand. As long as you know he's within your effective range put it right where you want it,and let it fly.;)Depending on your bows speed you can use it from 0-40 yds.I have no experience with the matis v-drive.I had an eliminator, savage, and helped one of my friends set up his Keller.I liked the savage the best. They are really great.I went to one pin on my new bow because it is so much faster, and I sold my friend my Savage to help him get started, but now he won't sell it back.[8D]
