I'm like Bowfever.... I have aluminum Easton XX75's #2315 w/ 125gr tips. Never shot carbon (yet). Don't know how they will differ from aluminum.

For several years I shot ACC 3-18's. They worked well for a softer cam. Then I went to a harder cam and used Beman ICS Hunters for the last two years. I've robin-hooded six in the last month, hit nocks and split the nock end of the arrows. They are not of the quality that I desire, and neither is any other all-carbon arrow that I've looked at. I will finish this hunting season with the ICS 500's but starting January I will be breaking out my new ACC 3-28's. No other arrow in this price range has the consistency of the ACC's.

Hey, aluminums are high tech! I shoot a bunch of different arrow materials...Port Orford cedar, Alaskan yellow cedar, white pine, chundoo, Western larch, douglas fir, oak, ramin, laminated birch, maple, hickory, even Martha Stewarts bamboo tomato stakes. Depends what I'm in the mood for. :)

xx75 2314 with 85 grain thunderheads 4&quot; feathers.Used to shoot Arrow dynamic's Nitro stingers but they got a bit to pricey for me the only regret for the change is that my aluminum arrows don't seam to penetrate as well
