Noisy peep sight?
 

I recently bought a new bow that came with a peep sight that has the rubber hose attached to the cable. When I draw it back, the string twists and makes a "snapping" sound. This obviously is not going to be good when the monster comes around. So, can someone suggest a betterpeep for me to try? Thanks in advance!

Take your bow to the shop and have them press it and straighten your peep so the tube doesn't need to pull it straight. Then the tube is just there for insurance;)

Take a look at the Fletcher Tru Peep. My peep also had the rubber hose and it was pretty noisy. Much happier now that I replaced it.

I like BHD's suggestion. The peep doesn't need to be facing the opposite direction at price. A 10 second press job could remedy that.

As for other peep styles...I prefer the Shurz A Peep 3 way as opposed to styles like the Fletcher mentioned above. I believe they are more susceptible to issues with string stretch.
