Cuddeback question?
 
when i try to look at my pics on my laptop, it say that it is searching for a driver. the camera didn't come with a disk or anything to load on the computer. i am using windows 2000. what's the deal?

I don't own that camera but I would have thought that the camera comes with the software to download the pics to. Just guessing...

I would assume anything not included would be downloadable from the website.

What are you using to download the images on your pc from your memory card? or are you trying to directly link your pc to the camera to view them?

The easiest and best way is to buy a compact flash card and CF card reader, you will get alot better quaility pictures using the card than you will just storing them on the camera's memory.

Ditto. I have two 256Meg cards for mine. I just switch the cards when I go check the camera. You can get them pretty cheap now. Check here:

Laptop doesn't have CF card reader, so i've been trying to use the usb port. i figured that would work, why else would you put a usb slot on the camera?

You can buy a CF card reader for about $10 that plugs into your USB port. Check that link I put in my earlier reply.

The Cuddeback has the USB port to be able to download to your computer but it doesn't work very well. Just get the card reader and swap out cards. You can leave the camera in the woods and the pictures will look much better.
