What do you carry in with you?
I tend to bring probably more than I need to, so I was wondering if you could go through what you bring in for a hunt.

Knife, drag harness, CatsEyes, tracing light, gutting gloves, grunt, antibacterial wipes, scent wafers, compass, water, jerky, cell phone, whistle, first aid thermal blanket, oh yeah...and toilet paper :eek:

Here's what's in mine:
Varying scents Scent wick bottles sm. first aid kit pruners knife scent eliminator binocs range finder tags grunt call coyote call (just in case) mag light extra gloves (don't like wet hands) pen (gotta sign the tag) harness water bottle snack bar cell phone digital cam |

Bow - recurve or longbow
Arrows (4 broadheads and 2 blunts) Shooting glove + a spare Knife, or two Cell phone (in the first aid kit, for emergency use only!) Canteen Drag rope Couple of granola bars Small foldup diamond whetstone Extra bowstring Flashlight Maybe a set of pruning shears, in case I want to make a quick blind TP - can be used as a trail marker if not used for it's primary purpose Pen to sign the tag and a piece of string to tie it on with Might start carrying the digital camera, now that I finally got one.;) |

I will typically carry in my pack: 1. Flashlight 2. Grunt call 3. Skeeter Spray 4. Gloves 5. Headnet 6. Pullup rope 7. Saw 8. Knife 9. Red flagging 10.Screw in Bow holder 11. Wind checker 12.Scent killer spray 13.Face paint 14. Deer Pee 15. Water 16.Binoculars 17. Rattle Bag 18. Extra Batteries of Flashlight 19. Compass 20.Extra Clothes in the Winter Sick ain't it? :D |

i only take the minimum to the stand cell phone, knife, light, hand warmers, clothes, decoy, i keep the rest of my geer in the truck

I always laugh at myself when I see what I think I "need" to take with me.
Knife: camera: snacks: water: scentlok: gloves: rangefinder: grunt call: doe bleat: binos: paper and pencil: 2-way radio: cell phone: gps: fm radio w/ headphones: rubber gloves: rubber arm sleeves:and a couple of other things I can't think of at the moment. |

I didn't think I carried a lot in my back pack until I put it on here!! No wonder I'M pooped by the time I get to my stand.::::

Thought you guys said CAMPING.......HAHA |

Bow/arrows knife extra clothes saftey belt release scent eliminator deer scent face paint gloves grunt call rattle bag lighter matches rangefinder whistle watch tags kitchen sink:D Geez that is a lot. Oh well I like to be ready for anything. |
