Default ThermaCell?

Anyone trying these things out? I bought one, seems to work really good on the bugs. I am not convinced it is oderless though!

I turkey hunted with a friend this Spring, and he used a Thermacell. It absolutely saved us from mosquito's. I'm with you on the odorless thing, though. They say they are, but I'm not sure.

Ditto. Tried one out last week hunting and worked great. I could smell it though so I don't think it is odorless.

I won't go hunting early season without mine. After about 15 minutes, you won't have any problems with flies or mosquitos. It does have a slight butane smell to it but if you are in a stand, it is high enough that the deer won't smell it. Just remember to lay it flat or you will melt the plastic housing. I put mine on my climber's base against the tree. I think I will rig up something with velcro.

I bought one two weeks ago after reading some posts on this sight. I used it twice sitting in my stand tree stand while scouting at a spot that I use when the weather turns cold because of all the mosquitoes. I didn’t see or hear a single mosquito or black fly in 2 hours on stand. Well worth the small price tag.

I put mine outside under the lights a few weeks ago and had NO mosquitos within a few min. of turning it on. Worth it's weight in gold to me.

i had been debating on whether or not to buy one and finally did and i'm so happy i did. i used it hog hunting in a swamp where there were enough skeeters to carry me off. i got bitten a few times before it kicked in but after that it was great. i love it!!!!
