Cresting removal

I have some Easton ACC 360's that I had crested a while back after shooting them for a year and a half they are getting a little tattered. About 4 of them need refleched also. I also found they add unwanted weight to the rear of my arrows. Is there a way to remove the paint without destroying the arrows ?
I have one that's bent to bad to be fixed that I can test on. Any suggestions? Thanks Jim

I take a real dull knife and scrape the cresting, and cresting wraps off of my arrows.Just be careful not to cut into the shaft itself, thats about the only way I know to get the paint off.

I don't know if you sealed them with anything or not, but wetting a rag in paint thinner and wiping thoroughly may do the trick. It did on my first several attempts to crest my own until I got it right... but, I haven't tried removing the paint since I sealed the caps.
