Have her try all of the smaller draw length lower poundage bows and decide for herself. My favorite was the Mathews Mustang. Light, smooth, quick, quite, and very forgiving.

congrat onhaving a wife who will hunt.my wife hunts with me and my two boys.stay out of the dog house, get her one thats more expense then yours.
