If you think it is bad now then wait till you kill your first deer.

15 more days and a wake up.My heart gets pounding just thinking about it.I am heading to gander mountain tomorrow to buy a 12 oack of Gold Tip Xt hunters.Got them on sale for 70 better then payuing 8.50 a piece even for a dozen at our local bow shop.Plus I am getting a new drop away and site also.I know it is late in the season but a day and I will have it all done.I plan on having the sites dialed in from 10 to 50 yards by sunday as well as having it paper tuned before setting up all the site's.I got my work cut out for me this weekend.Wif ei smad I wont be doing my honey do list until I have my bow finished.

I have been driving the wife nuts watching the hunting shows, talking hunting with buddies, and shooting my bow as much as I can. She's ready for October 1 as much as I am...to get me out of the house :D

I'll be sitting on a 50 (oct 1)acre apple orchard with an 18" eight as one of its occupants...afternoon only. don't 'have' to work in the am, but I am going to save my time off for the rut.

Bah, I just found out today that my wife has to work on the morning of opening day from 7am - 1:30pm.:(

Unless I can find a babysitter it looks like I won't be able to hit the woods till 3pm or so.
