Rubbing yet in Central Massachusetts?

I am looking around in central Ma. and have yet to see any evidence of rubbing yet. Are some of you other folks from around here having the same, or am I missing something? (maybe a buck)

I live a bit east of you, but I found some velvet rubs a few weeks ago while out scouting. Believe it or not I actually found 4-5 scrapesthis past weekend. They were on a 1 acre island in the middle of a swamp. They were fairly large, complete with a licking branch and all. I never would have thought they would be scraping already unless I had seen it with my own eyes. I guess is its probably a single over anxious youngster.

I'm in SE MA and have only been out scouting once and didn't see any rubs or scrapes but that nearly two weeks ago. I expect to get out this weekend and hope to at least find rubs if not scrapes. Good luck this season.

I'm in South Western Mass and I found some awesome rubs this past Sunday. One was HUGE on a 4 inch diameter tree and another smaller tree was just shreaded near by. Both look like they were done in the last few days.

From Central Ma, I found a few rubs while mushroom picking.
