I cant say that i have placed the family jewels in a tree before, but if its supposed to be good luck, then next time i might do that rather than throwing them at my hunting buddy.

The only thing I do is either throw the deer "privates" at my buddy or seal them up in a bag and hang them on my other friends mail box/door.

Field dress it and warm up the frying pan. OH, you got to record the incident with a picture too or no one will believe you got one.

Cant do it in NY. You have to leave proof of sex on the deer.

Ha.... I did that to my best friend last year. He thought it was hilarious... his wife (or mine for that matter) did not seem to share our sense of humor.

The only symbolic thing that I do is to thank God for his blessings.

And the antlers wouldn't qualify for this?

Quote-After field dressing the deer, does anyone else, place the buck's private area up in the crotch of a tree for good luck?

We always hang ours from the rearview mirror of the truck.
