Success with a decoy!!!!!!
 

Well almost. I went out Friday evening and set up a deer target on the edge of a field. Twenty minutes later three does came out to the field about 150 yds away. I called to them and they started making their way over. The biggest doe saw the decoy and started moving in slowly. When she got about 40 yds away from me she circled around down wind and that put her right under my stand. Instead of waiting for her to move to my shooting side I tried to stand up and take a shot at her right under my stand. When I stood up my stand squeaked and she took off. About 20 minutes after that I heard a stick break behind me. I turned around and there were the three does checking out the decoy again. They circled behind me and then moved off.

The whole thing was really exciting!!!! And the decoy definitely worked.

The decoys work. I had a spike buck mount my 3d target 3 times before knocking it over.

rockytop I have to know, what did the spike do when she fell over??? I wonder if he thought "Man I must be GOOD!!!"
