Bare shaft tuning results (8in. right =?)
 

I followed the Easton tuning guide and I'd like to know what this equates to in terms of velocity and accuracy. After setting me up with a complete bow package(Switchback) my local pro set me up with Super Carbon Hunter 60-75's with 100gr field points, and the bare shafts are hitting 8 in right of the fleched arrows.Once nocked, the arrows are centered w/ string and cam. Should I offset the rest to theleft to compensate, or just get stiffer spined arrows.I don't want to crank the poundage down, so that's not an option. If these arrows are too weak for my setup, I feel the pro should even swap me for the correct arrows...don't you think? I'm pretty hot about this!! The bare shaft test does work when using a release, doesn't it?

You could also try alighter point, say,85 gr. Before I made any huge changes, I think I would paper tune first to make sure the arrows aren't coming off all funky.

70lbs. I'm punching bullet holes when paper tuning at 6ft. I've heard several individuals on this forum say that paper tuning doesn't really mean squat, comparitively speaking to bare shaft tuning.
Personally, I've always assumed that bullet holes equated to a well tuned bow.

Definitely sounds like a weak spine.

You have a few options

1. Cut your arrows an inch shorter if possible to stiffen them up
2. Go lighter in point weight, though I doubt that would work given you are already down to 100 grains.
3. Lower the poundage on your bow
4. You might could move the rest, but ultimately your broadhead grouping with field tips will tell you if any of it worked.

Before you make any more adjustment try lighter tips. This will increase the spine of the arrow. If your groups move closer to centerline you will know that your arrow selection is to weak.

You could also try backing off the poundage to check if the spine is too weak--less poundage=arrow will act stiffer.
