i hunt Ohio and of course the season hasnt opened yet. I try to stay out of the area I'm going to hunt untilI actually hunt it... however I do inventory the bucks using camerasset up along entrances toalfalfa fields...etc....I guess what I'm trying to say is that the reason I am at home and not out in the field is because I try to keep my scouting " low impact " because the animals I'm targeting are mature bucks that wont put up with me stomping around on their turf too muchbefore they decide to relocate.

one of my friends used to wear a shirt all the time that read "I'm retired, having a good time IS my job!" I used to die laughing everytime he wore it.....not that the shirt is really that funny at all....but we were seniors in high school and he was about 17 years old...
