Are women welcomed in my group?
Depends on how big their antlers are.

I would have no problem hunting with a woman. I think it would be fun. I would love to meet a woman that hunts or would be willing to get into hunting. Not too many out there though.

Maybe we should start a personals section on the forum! I will start. SWM 29 years old seeking SWF who hunts, camps and enjoys the outdoors. I could see about 1,000 of those postings.

I hunt with ethical, smart hunters. Man or Woman does not matter. I do not hunt with non-thical hunters period. I have no patence for them!!!

In our camp back when PA had a split buck and doe seaon, buck season was always Men Only, during doe season any of my sisters or nieces were allowed to come hunt.

Now that buck and doe are combined it is men only from Friday until Sunday evening when one of my nieces occasionally shows up.

We dont do anything other than eat, drink, play cards and fart but it is our time to be away from the wives.

It's all relative to what you're hunting.

I don't mind. Just as long as they hav a big "rack". Been trying to get my girlfriend to start hunting with me for a while now. I think I' getting to her. She wants a bow so she can shoot in the yard with me, but she isn't too keen on hunting YET

Not only do I accept women in my camps I welcome them. I try to get all my friends wives and girlfriends to hunt . We usualy have a big turnout of women at camp who just sit and talk while the men hunt. In the past few years I have got not only my wife but at least 70% of the other women in camp to start hunting. My daughter is 14 and quite an accomplished archer with several 1st place finishes at 3d tournaments and already 1 buck,2 does and a hog not to mention we all bowfish. So why shouldnt we accept women in camp. I would shure rather look at a pretty gal gut a deer than a pot bellied buddy do his nails lol jus funnin.

Any women are welcome in my camp. A woman shot this buck. 23 points, over 200 inches.

my wife hunts with me almost every time I go.she bow hunts , B/P hunts and gun hunts.we dog hunt and she gets out there with the best of our group and catches the dogs.there are a couple other women in our group that hunts with us as well.

my wife can shoot as well or better than I do,with bow and guns. she has taken 3 deer this year(no misses) and I have taken 2 (with one clean miis)[][&o].

I think women should be just as welcome in the woods or field as men are.

We have several women in our camp that hunt. My aunt even has her own deer lease. I have a friend who works in a strip club who even goes out fishing with us when we go out fishing. I mentioned we were going out one weekend and she asked if she could come along. A lot of women enjoy hunting and fishing if they can just get somebody to take them and show them how the first time. Besides they are a lot more fun at night than a bunch of smelly men. The women we hunt and fish with are all good sports about things and we don't have to worry about what we say or do around them. They even clean their own deer and fish.
