Shadowace you're dead on!!It's a bobcat. Here is a pic of mine. You can see he has a 4" long tail, and there are black tips on his ears.Your's is just of a different breed. Also from my understanding Pa state says there are no Mountain lion, panthers, cougars, pumas etc...in their state. It's supposed to be a rural legend.;)

thats a cougar aka mountain lion you cant see its long tail because its swung to the left. Igot pics of one in the u.p. of michigan and thats what a wildlife biologist said it was. so be careful at that stand.

There is mo way that is a lion, bob cat or some cross breed. LIons loses there spote on there belly after a few mounths of age. Their tails are as thic as an arm and as long as the cat.

It is a bob in its summer coat. And the pic is not that clear, if it were you could see the spots better, look at the bottom of the face, those black spots are not found on a lion.

BOB CAT ALL THE WAY GUYS< NO IFS ANDS OR BUTS.

These are the same folks who blame alt for no deer in pa. Maybe its the mt lions of pa that are eating all your deer. I think helen keller could see a bobcat in that pic. I know I do.

if you don't think that i a bobcat i hate to see what you think is a deer.

their is only 2 things that could be
1- bobcat
2- a uglymut "dog"

just look how big the dead cougar is in the other pic. it is bigger then the guy holding it. and i would bet that salt block isn't all that big

Great picture! Cougars are being seen in all of the Eastern states. I researchand take sighting reports in New York. I have a colleage in Penn. doing the same.
This is a link to an article that just ran in Penn. with a contact

Hee is my web site, you can read more about cougar sightings in New York.

I will tell you this much about this picture, we have received many pictures of cats that are too large to be a Bob cat. The ears are rounded, the spotting or stripes as you may say, can be significant of a younger cougar. The tail could be swayed from the angel of the picture? it could also be damaged?
