At first glance I thought it looked like a small couger, but after the picture was blown up I'd have to agree that it is a bobcat.

First thing you notice about a lion is the enormous and long tail that actually will touch the ground if they arn't running and using it for a rudder. That's a bobcat without a winter coat. Think I'll post a picture of a frog and see how many people think it's an elephant! haha

I say you send the picture to your local DNR person and see what they think! I wonder if it issome cross breed? I know of a coyote that "raped" my buddies poor pooch! Needless to say she has not been the same since. I would figure if you were the only "wildcat" around anything with four legs and some type of purr would be pretty hot!

shoot those bad boys if you see them. they are cool to get stuffed, but mainly because they eat turkeys...and we dont want that now do we?
