Would really say itsa Lynx because of the longer hair on its ears.Good pic if it is not a whole lot of them. Lynx i think are a little bigger than a bobcat and they do have long hair tufts on their ears.

The first picture looks like a cougar with a short tail but, it's probably a bobcat.

Yup. For everyone that doesn't think the first pic on this thread is a bobcat and that it is a Mt lion this should end all discission. That bobcat could fit in this cats mouth. At first glance i thought...that has got to be a cougar/mountain lion.....they are making a serious comeback east of the mississippi.

All I know is I'll never believe another mountain lion sighting again as long as I live! If these are "outdoorsmen" saying this... how in the world can we believe a hiker or someone else out in the woods?!?
