Freeze Drying
Got a question. About laundry. Yeah....I know....but.....listen. On the instructions of most of my hunting clothes, it reads "Line Dry Only." OK....I get that....But, what do you do when it is below freezing outside?? I mean, I can't "Line Dry" my clothes in the basement....that's just silly.....
Seriously...what do you do? Will they dry while they are frozen?? |
RE: Freeze Drying
They won't dry when frozen. I would put them in the dryer with no heat if you are worried about them shrinking.

RE: Freeze Drying
Silly...yes. Necessary.....maybe. When it's bad outside, I hang mine on hangers in the bathroom. Most of the time I put them in the dryer WITHOUT any type of lint product....such as bounce or downy. In addition, we usually spray down too. Good luck this season, we only have 8 days to go!!!

RE: Freeze Drying
I would hang them any where I could it would be better than putting it on freeze dried. As for the scent part you will get scent on them but that is what the scent eliminaters are for. I would rather do that than nothing at all.

RE: Freeze Drying
Throw them in the dryer with a scented dryer sheet that you can buy from H.S. Clothes will be dry and come out smelling like dirt.

RE: Freeze Drying
Ye sI would use the scented dryer sheet.Or hang them in the house and use a cover scent sheet in the dryer before you head out to hunt.Say fresh earth.Walmart seels a small packeage of them.

RE: Freeze Drying
Grab a container of the HS STRUT wafers...Earth scent. Throw them in your bag or container of clothes.
