question about horton crossbow red dot scope
 
iam thinking about buying a crossbow which comes with this scope and it has three red dots and i was wondering what ranges u should set the 3 dots at?

A buddy of mine had that site and didn't like it. he took it off and got a site that had multiple crosshairs for distances.he likes it much better.

You sight the crossbow in for 20 yards with the top pin. The other two are already calibrated for 30 and 40 yards after that.

Ditto on BG's comments. The local shop sells some of the Horton models and I have looked through the multiple red dot scope. Interesting concept but I found the dots to be a bit blurry regardless of the illumination level.

Good luck with yours though. Chances are I just had a bad model.

You got that problem, too. How old are your eyes? I know I use bifocals. I know ther are 3 dots in the scope but damned if I don't see about 9 of them.
