rybohunter,

How do you like that STS system?? Is it holding up?

I loved the shock stop bumper that was on my old bear TRX but it just wasn't durable enough........I had two crack and then ditched it. I thought it was a great idea though.

Anyways........I switched some stuff too.

Carbon Express Terminator Hunter Selects>>>>Easton Epics
(I know many would see that as a down grade and there is certainly nothing wrong with my CX's but my brother gave me about 8 Epics because he let out his draw and they were now too short for him.........I fletched them up and I just have seen no reason not to shoot them. They fly excellent out of my rig so I will give them a shot......Literally ;))

Doinker 4 rod stabilizer>>>>>>>Sims S coil
Magnus Stinger 4 blade>>>>>>>Magnus Stinger Buzcutt 4 blade
Duravanes>>>>>>>>>>& gt;>>>>>Blazers

I also put a new string and cable on my Patriot and got a new bow case.

RE: Changes from last year to this year

Several changes:

1.) New tubing on my peep sight. The old stuff was 2 years old and starting to dry-rot. That's the big new addition.
2.) New, Improved shooter - My bow's operator is one year older, and is that much wiser. Hopefully it translates into some bigger dead animals.
3.) New arrows - I got some newly crested arrows, same size and brand as the old ones though. They're almost too pretty to fling.
4.) No stabilizer. Last year, while dragging out my buck, my bow divorcedher stabilizer. Yup, she threw him right out, and left him to rust in a hayfield.I guess she caught him screwing into another bow. I did some shooting, and it turns out that she does just fine without Mr. Stabilizer. She will not be seeking alimony payments, however. In a recent interview, Ms. Bowsays that he was just "dead weight."
5.) Tie-nock - took off the old brass nockpoint and went to a tie-nock. It's red and sexy.
6.) My bow just turned 8. That's 56 dog years. With the age comes added wisdom. She has a few more deer under her belt now, and is now primed for a real coming of age.

Parker phoenix 32 --------------------- Bowtech alleginace
Dusk Devil sight ----------------------- Dusk Devil II sight. (same thig just an updated version)
NAP QT2000 drop away ---------------- QAD ultra rest
Carbon Express Terminator Selects ----- Carbon Express CX400
Alpine bear claw quiver ---------------- Fuse katana 6 arrow quiver. (awesome quiver BTW)
Pro shop made strings and cables ------ Winners choice string and cables.

Release stayed the same. Tru Fire hurricane glove.
Still haven't decided on a stabilizer yet. Right now I got a C.A.P. lore attached.
Slick tricks stayed the same but added Razor caps to the quiver as well.

Hmmmmm. Not as much as I originally thought?

New Bow.....there's a shock. ;)Bowtech Allegiance

Switched broadhead companies entirely to Rocky Mt. / Barrie Archery so I'm shooting 3 new broadheads this season (Turbos, Snyper XP3, Gator XP)

Arrow wraps.......first time bothering to try them.

New version of my APA Twister rest from last season.

Added a Tru-Glo bowhunters light to my Spot-Hogg connected by zip ties and electrical tape to only light up the top pin. (works better than it sounds)

New Tru-Peep 1/4" magnum peep sight.

New safety harness and a new Summit Copperhead X5 hang on stand, otherwise I think everything else is pretty much the same.

Oh I did get some new quiet camo raingear, (Gander Mt. tech H20).
